The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

Silent Bus Ride: Our goal was to get 3 compliments from adults on their morning commute. We got one, but it was sarcastic. We counted it anyway.

Patiently waiting with anticipation. The students were so respectful and well behaved, the ushers complimented them!

A few of us got stuck at  Mill Ends Park, and then one of our students shared his personal connection to the park (his grandma damaged part of the cement surrounding the park in an accident, but she was luckily just fine). Now that's living history.

Waiting in line for the bus ride home, after the play, a quick visit to the Art Museum, Director Park, Mill Ends Park, and the Waterfront for lunch and play.

Yep. He was not the only one who felt like that. We settled back in to school with buddy reading and reflecting on our play visit through the use of Similes. Ended the day with one of the most genuine and heartfelt birthday circles.

Thank you for sharing your kind, passionate, funny, wiggly, and courageous students to school each day,

Catie
